My Feedback on CELT programme

Hello everyone..

I just want to convey my inner thoughts about this one month CELT programme. Without knowing more details about this training I want to undergo this CELT programme. 

After reaching this RIESI campus on february 15, I felt that how can I manage this programme one month. Because I was searching the whole university to find RIESI campus, and no one is showing proper route to this campus. 

Although I imagined like that, I managed to go with ice breaking session, really I can say that session broke my freezypoint. 

I begun to speak, answer, question, and mix-up with everyone.

From the next day I began to enjoy and learn many things. Here I can say I am blessed with a fantabulous crew of faculties. 

I never dreamt of this kind of punctual, kind, encouraging, caring and intellectual personalities as my professors, they are. Dr. Suman Bandi took part as course co-ordinator, who is always simple, don't complicate anything or don't compel anyone. He get all his works done with his friendly comments and gestures. Not only he is course co-ordinator but also well versed grammar person. His sessions clarified my long term doubt that where to stress more on grammar teaching? Rules or usage... And I am sure, I will effectively conduct function based grammar classes hereafter. 

Before CELT programme, I used to be the person who dont want to write more in paper, my rheumatoid arthirities problem made my finger joints painful when I write anything with pen and paper. After this training I feel that I got a new wing in writing, I am fond of expressing my views and thoughts using my mobile. It makes my time more cultivating. Now I am not wasting more time in any other social medias instead I am writing. The one who created this wings and who is reason behind my confidence in writing is none other than ever smiling and keen listening Dr.Ravinarayan Chakra kodi, he created platform for writing which now extends from jnanabharathi to my own town. Yes, we CELTians formed our private whatsapp groups and we are reading other friends blogs, giving comments, conducting virtual meetings and many more follow ups, because of one and only Ravinarayan sir. I need betterment in my writing style, and I also want to make my children confident writers. I can achieve this goal with his support and suggestion. Special gratitude for this move.

I want to develop in my profession and got more ideas. But the thirst to do something to my children is more now. I am waiting for my classroom to be back. I need to conduct my classes and try to give my best output to my students. This thirst was created by my favourite all india star dr.Hitesh C Bhakat, I didn't assumed a professor like him who can tie up 100 lives in a single place simply observing stage without any distraction. He is really a miraculous magic to me. In future whenever I felt I worked more enough I will immideatly think of Hitesh sir, then I get my energy back to work and learn up to my retirement. He is always young in mind and energetic too.

I completed my UG and got some trouble in completing my PG. Our state government also stopped incentive for PG which made many of our teachers why to do that PG, but the words they are not words SWORDS by Dr.Tha sri Gururaj tore my mind's inner screen and made me to think of my doctorate. I still excited that how he creates whole sessions with a single meaningful picture. I learnt a very effective classroom management from him. He made me to read more and to make students to read more. I already said to him if I get discharged in my academic level I would make a call and get some special scolds which make me set on my path again. His simple classroom reading task " Fastest reader of South India" really made me feel more special, from that I learnt how a student to be appreciated and motivated. Sincere thanks to Dr. Gururaj for this all exposure.

I created a language lab in my school in the year 2018 itself but I felt I am lack of phonic knowledge to handle the language lab sessions. I trusted british council apps for proper sounds. And now its time for me to roll my tongue more phonically. Our stylish Dr.Uzma Raheel made this change in me. How effective and fast her classes are, really loved to be a participant in her classroom. Immediate sentence formation using sounds is the great milestone we reached instead of repeating same sounds and words. Now I get confidence and I am sure I will do some magic in my language lab after school reopening. Credits goes to my lovable Uzma madam.

Last but not least always cute Dr. Pooja giri, even a simple poem can be taught this much effective, I learnt this magic from her. I never forgot " red is amma's bindi" , each day she come with more materials and showed more methods for teaching but never she said " I am teaching methods and materials" her class itself said that. Many methods using simple materials made classes more fruitful. I promise to make my class fruitful like this. Really our darjiling darling made this possible, love and hugs to my dear Pooja mam.

 With all this LSRW skills we spread our wings in ICT  skills too. Krashen hypothesis session was one of the useful sessions we had. I surprised IT people are concentrating on academics in this pandemic work from home situation too. But I got to know the real value of their progress in audio resource workshop. I didn't get chance to attend the session but I learnt the content through my roommate, and created my own contents too. I am sure, it will help me more in my school.

More than academics, the culturals show cast is the memorable one event.  I really loved and enjoyed all states participation, and me too performed and felt more delighted after my school days. 

The overall arrangements, responsive administration, good hospitalization, healthy food and good accomodation, caring securities and overall environment of RIESI made me to feel like Iam in heaven. And I am sure my friends who was with me during this 30 days all 105 dears made my days more gracious. Now I am terribly missing those lovely days but have loads of responsibilities to give back to my students. I convey my heartfelt gratitude to all my hearts who made this plot. I can recall my whatsapp status after this training, " 30 days, 5 states, 105 teachers, 1 destiny - RIESI" . This destiny will be in my mind till my last. Thank you all.
